Masks Scholarship Essays

Hi, I’m Jonathan Becker. I’m a mask maker, teaching artist and a theatrical performer. I started down this path in 1986 and began sculpting masks while I was a student in Paris, France. I returned to the United States in 1990 and founded Since then I’ve spent years in continuous study, training actors with masks and teaching mask making techniques. Now I’m in a position to offer an opportunity to art students that wish to further their education.

That said, if you want to work in theater or if you have dreams of becoming a mask maker (or something similar), you’ll probably need some education. And, it turns out, that is not cheap!
